Eva Aisya Purnadia is an Indonesian documentary filmmaker based in Surakarta who specializes in the sociocultural issues of Indonesian society. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to exploring these topics through visual storytelling.
Documentary Journey
Eva has begun her experience in documentaries since she studied Film and Television at Institut Kesenian Jakarta in 2020. Her recent short documentary, Esa (2023), received Official Selection at seven Indonesian film festivals and won two Best Documentary awards.
Experience
Eva has experience as a Videographer and Video Editor for architectural video projects and DIT Assistant for a feature film project. Eva is always interested in developing her technical understanding in camera and sound to further enhance her skills. She is also proficient in editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
