On this occasion, I volunteered as a Videographer to capture the event of Kotabaru Heritage Film Festival 2025. This event is held annually in Jogjakarta. This year, it took place in Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3 Yogyakarta as a festival venue. Consistently using “HERITAGE” as its festival grand theme, Kotabaru Heritage Film Festival 2025 presents over 30 films ranging widely from fiction, documentary, and hybrid. All accessible to the public for free.

The festival also offers an exhibition, a traditional food market, a public lecture and a workshop agenda that allows the public to contribute more actively and gain experience. With all those programs, Kotabaru Heritage Film Festival 2025 is more than just “celebrating cinema”. It is a special place to gather, to seek knowledge and experience, to appreciate arts, and of course, to preserve heritage.
